The Final Item
SAYING "THANK-YOU" TO THOSE WHO HELPED

These are the acknowledgements that Our Saviour Lutheran would like to make in thanks to the many who made this presentation possible.

Hobey Lowrance -

For sharing his story with us, allowing us to "Be there" as he flew... letting us look down and see the hearts of men begin to melt from spearing to salvation. Hobey, through your words we watched the gift bucket spiral to the ground, full of grace. You lifted off and carried on where others would have turned and walked away.

Chuck Howard -

What a touching story. Chuck, we will remember you by the radio, and we will recall your pain as you heard the words of the rescue team making their reports from the beach about your childhood hero. We are so touched that this story played a role in your becoming a missionary! We will be tuning you in on HCJB.

Bob Griffin -

For his endless hours editing and writing, and for his story. Bob and Judy worked long and hard, studying the facts, placing the order of events together in story-form to bring this historic documentation, told again through new voices. Bob, we will remember your tears, shared tears, with the wives who lost their travelling partners, that others would know of Christ. You and Hobey inspire us to soar high for Christ.

Judy Maxwell -

For many hours of editing and writing, and for her story. From England, Judy kept the midnight oil burning while at the same time she left smoke trails behind her hundreds of speeding emails across the Atlantic, making this project what it is. Judy, we thank God for snakes, for through the one that bit Gikita, you were able to see Christ's peace in his eyes at that jungle hospital.

Steve Saint -

For permission to share his account of Gikita's life. Steve, we can see the power of the shed blood of Calvary through your agape love. We see Christ in you! Thank-you!

Olive Fleming Liefeld -

For permission to quote part of her testimony. Olive, we took you from your work in the garden the day we asked for your permission. May many seeds be sown through the retelling of this story.

Catherine Peeke -

For her contribution as Wao [Auca] language consultant. Catherine, we are certain that you are a person of patience, creativity, resiliance and vision. Your team's many years of translation work, we watch with awe.

Jim Yost -

For his work in Wao [Auca] culture consultation. Jim, you and those brothers and sisters with you have followed The Master's call to go to distant lands and share the Word. We thank you.

Ghislaine Benney -

MAF, for editing, sending photos and coordinating with Our Saviour Lutheran. Ghislaine, could there be a more joyous voice than yours? We don't think so. Thanks so much for the time you took to pour over our words!

Lou Sculuca -

MAF, who spent hours preparing tapes for distibution. Lou, we hope that those tapes you and your staff prepared will carry Nate's footage far and wide to raise up a new generation for missions.

Marj Saint Van Der Puy -

For permission to quote Nate's last radio contact. We can still see you perched beside the radio, so faithfully.

To the families -

Of Ed, Roger, Pete, Nate, and Jim.

To the Lord -

For our computers and the software that made this easy[er]. And we thank You for Life itself!
