Welcome to Our Saviour Lutheran's, "Palm Beach Interview Series." This a series of interviews with people who were directly touched by or involved with "Palm Beach", the site in the jungle of Ecuador where 5 missionaries lost their lives in a spearing raid in January of 1956, while attempting to
bring the Gospel of Christ to an unreached people. The miracle of this story is that the very men who killed the missionaries later embraced the Gospel the missionaries came to deliver. These people now have the Gospel in their own language! This will be a story you will never forget!
This Interview Series is a product of OSLC's 4-year-running Internet ministry called, SPEED THE NEED [STN]. STN was an urgent needs network on the Internet for missionaries and those that cared about them. It began in the Spring of 1994, and ended four years later. STN handled prayer, medical and supply needs via a 1600 member email list. It was the first of it's kind, and to this day nothing exists like it. We thank those who joined us during those exciting days as, "Speeders".
