THE FALL RALLY IS HERE – Bring your favorite dish to pass for the potluck after the 9:15am service and check out the tables of information from OSLC boards and committees. We look forward to working with new and old members alike to show you how you can share your talents with other members of the OSLC family.

LIFETOUCH DIRECTORIES – Did you have your picture taken by Lifetouch or submit a photo for this year’s special pictorial directory? Stop by the Board of Fellowship table at the Fall Rally to pick up your reserved copy. After today, directories can be picked up in the church office during regular business hours

MICHELLE VACATION – With the church secretary on vacation from September 25-30, SCRIP will NOT be available for purchase or pickup in the church office that week. Also, please note that blurbs for the October 1 announcements are due Tuesday, September 19.

HOPE AND HEALING SUPPORT GROUP – Are you hurting and broken from the death of a loved one?  Do you feel alone and that no one understands your pain? Whether your grief journey just began or you are years in, we welcome you to this safe place for you to share, listen, and find hope.  Each week will include a discussion topic and take-aways in helping you embrace the pain and reach for a small glimpse of healing. This group will be led by Renee Natzke, who knows grief first hand after her son, Jack, died two years ago. Please join us Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm, September 20-November 15 in the Parlor. LOYALTY SUNDAY COMING – Mark your calendars for October 15. This year’s Pledge Card can be found in the October issue of The Voice coming next week.

ALTAR GUILD MEETING – The next meeting of the Altar Guild will be at 6:30pm on Monday, September 25 in the Sacristy. New members are always welcome. Questions can be directed to Jennifer Damp at (920) 785-4348 or jenniferdamp@gmail.com.

THE FALL RALLY IS NEXT WEEK – Bring your favorite dish to pass for the potluck after the 9:15am service and check out the tables of information from OSLC boards and committees. We look forward to working with new and old members alike to show you how you can share your talents with other members of the OSLC family. There will be NO 10:45 am service.

FALL RALLY PREPARATIONS – Due to Summers’ Last Blast on Saturday, table set up for the Fall Rally will be done late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Please plan to bring your table top information to the gym for set up before 8:30am.

SPECIAL CHOIR – We are organizing a special choir to sing at Pastor Ros’ installation on October 1. Rehearsals will be at 6:30pm on September 19 and 26. Anyone interested in participating must contact Judy O’Grady at ogradyj@sbcglobal.net by Sunday, September 17

MITE BOX SUNDAY – We celebrate Mite Box Sunday on the 2nd Sunday of every month! Bring your mite box to the LWML table today, pick up an empty, repeat.

CONFIRMATION MEETING – All Level I and Level II confirmation parents and students should attend the orientation meeting September 13 from 6-7pm. Please bring all completed forms. If you did not receive a packet, contact Michelle at (920) 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org.

SUMMERS’ LAST BLAST SATURDAY – Check out the insert in today’s bulletin. Stop by for lunch/dinner, take home a bucket of booyah, bid in the silent auction, bring the kids or grandkids for games and bounce houses. Young and old alike can register for the 2nd Annual Jack Natzke Kids’ Run; forms are at the Welcome Center or online at Facebook.com/jacksrun. Proceeds benefit Green Bay Trinity Lutheran School.

BRUNSTING GOLF OUTING DEADLINE – The 2nd Annual Marlys Brunsting Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at The Woods. Non-golfers are welcome to play board games in the clubhouse. All attendees will receive lunch. Golf will be a 4-person, 18-hole scramble with first tee at 9am. Please email Larry at LSegriff2011@gmail.com NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 if you want to attend. Pay $50 to golf ($15 for non-golfers) at registration, which begins at 8am the day of the event.

IT’S FISH FRY TIME! – Join us on Friday, September 8 between 5 and 6:30pm for our first fish fry of the season. Youth, we need you to sign up on the Youth bulletin board (6 youth needed each month); you can earn money for your Youth Account. Adults are also needed; contact Gay Pivonka at (920) 468-8204 or gsp5243@yahoo.com. Donations of Coke and Pepsi products are also needed; regular, diet and caffeine-free varieties are welcome. Find a sale and help to get us started. Please be mindful of expiration dates (especially for the sugar-free/diet varieties). LASTLY, take a few fish fry schedules from the Welcome Center and share them with friends, neighbors and co-workers

CONFIRMATION PACKETS – Packets for new Level I and returning Level II students have been mailed. If your child plans to attend Confirmation class this fall and did not receive a packet, please contact Michelle in the church office at (920) 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org. Registrations should be returned by the parent meeting on September 13.

KIDS RUN AND SUMMERS’ LAST BLAST – The 2nd Annual Jack Natzke Kids’ Run will kick off Summer’s Last Blast on September 16 at 11am. Registration is $15/person with a $60 family cap. The registration link is at Facebook.com/Jacksrun. Paper registration forms are at the Welcome Center. Please complete and return to the Trinity mailbox or the church office with your payment as soon as possible. Summers’ Last Blast will continue until 8pm that day with food, games, music, silent auction and MORE!
