LIVE NATIVITY SOUP SUPPER – We are preparing for the Live Nativity and Soup Supper on Wednesday, December 13. Servants are needed for setup/serving from 3:30-5:30pm and for serving/clean up from 5:30-8pm. Please sign up on the white board by the Welcome Center. Please help for one of the short shifts

SALVATION ARMY ADOPT A KETTLE – Members of OSLC are needed to ring bells on Wednesday, December 6 for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle. We have adopted the kettle at the Pick N’ Save at 1819 Main Street in Green Bay. This will be an “inside” station and should not be hampered by bad weather. We are seeking two people for each time slot (first shift at 9am; the last shift at 6pm). Many openings remain!!! Please sign up today for a shift or two at the Welcome Center!

SINGLE CUP COFFEE MAKER – Pastor Ros would like a coffee maker in the office. If you have an extra and would like to donate it, please contact Michelle in the office at (920) 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org. Thank you.

LIVE NATIVITY AND SOUP SUPPER – The Live Nativity this year will be held on Wednesday, December 13, with presentations at 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30pm. The Soup Supper will be held in the gym from 5-7pm. The preschool children will have a short program in the Sanctuary at 6:30pm. Please take one (or more) of the event fliers to share with family and friends. Color posters are also available if you have time to post at a nearby business. Please notify the office of where posters are placed so we can expand our availability list

READERS FOR 2018 – The reader schedule will be out soon for 2018. If you are interested in joining our group of readers for any service, please notify the church office by Wednesday, November 22. When leaving a message, provide your name and phone number along with the service time for reading.

LUTHERAN HIGH AUCTION THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11 – Only a few tickets remain for the 27th Annual Dinner Auction Passport to Paradise this coming Saturday night, November 11th.  It will be a great night of fellowship, food and bidding in support of NEW Lutheran High. Tickets can be purchased by calling the office (469-6810) or online at www.newlhs.com. You may also purchase tickets at the door. Please come and support our high school at this fun event!

LAST CALL FOR SEROOGY’S – Place your order by Wednesday, November 15. It will be ready for pick up at church after Thanksgiving. An order form is at the Welcome Center. Please place payment (checks payable to Our Saviour, memo: Seroogy’s) in the preschool director’s mailbox. The preschool receives up to 50% of all sales. Thanks for your support!

KNOW THE DEADLINES? – When you have an item for the weekly announcement sheet, submissions must be received in the office by noon on Tuesday. For the monthly issue of The Voice, the deadline is the 3rd Friday (coming up: November 17 and December 15)

CHICKS with STIX – The next meeting is tomorrow, Monday, at 1:00pm. New members are needed to work on many projects. Next week, when we celebrate Chicks with Stix Sunday, all winter donations (hats, scarves, etc.) for families in need in our area are due.

Mite Box Sunday – Today we celebrate Mite Box Sunday (and the 2nd Sunday of every month)! Bring your mite box to the LWML table, pick up an empty, and repeat next month. They aren’t called Mighty Mites for nothing! Watch for periodic updates on what your mites do when pooled with others!

VOTERS MEETING TODAY – Please pick up copies of the proposed budget, October expense report and any other paperwork to be used for the meeting today, which begins at 10:30am. Agenda items include budget approval, and election of new church council members. Please stay after service or come back if you leave after the early service.

SCRIP HELP NEEDED – SCRIP is sold before and after the 9:15am service on most Sundays. Additional help is needed to sell at either or both times. Please contact Julie at Jarichter15@gmail.com if interested

RECORDED GIVING TO OSLC – Everyone will have the opportunity to change their giving to Our Saviour (see insert in today’s bulletin) to online/automatic donations. No one will be required to make the change from offering plate to online giving, however, anyone utilizing SimplyGiving will need to discontinue using that program by year end. We are also preparing offering envelopes for 2018. If you no longer need the paper envelopes (or if you desire to start using them), please notify the office as soon as possible. The new online giving service will send a separate statement directly to you for your tax records; paper envelope giving will continue to be recorded for the purpose of providing an annual statement from church.
